Backing Parklands Albury Wodonga

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will support Parklands Albury Wodonga to keep doing their important work in maintaining the local bush parks, hills and rivers.

We’ll provide a $100,000 grant to help them continue to undertake conservation work along the Murray and Kiewa Rivers.

For years, the cross-border community group has worked to restore, improve and maintain the network of bush parks in the Albury-Wodonga region.

Funding from a Labor Government will make sure they are well-equipped to continue to maintain a high standard of biodiversity – ensuring Victorians understand the importance of regional parklands.
