A Stronger Lions Club in Beechworth

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will support the Beechworth Lions Club to continue its tireless work for the community.

The Beechworth Lions Club is behind projects like upgrading the Wangaratta Road rest area to transform it into an attractive stop for locals and travellers, the junior public speaking program for local primary school students and improvements along the Lions Memorial Walk.

The club also helps feed members of emergency services when they are on the job and fundraises towards local appeals and disasters.

Funding from a Labor Government will make sure the Beechworth Lions Club is well supported to continue to help local families and members of our community – ensuring every Victorian gets the support when and where they need it.
