A Stronger 1st South Frankston Scout Group
A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will ensure the 1st South Frankston Scouts can continue to do great work for the community.
We’ll provide a $20,000 grant towards building an entrance ramp and repairing the hall façade, providing a great local space for some of our youngest residents.
For years, the 1st South Frankston Scouts have supported thousands of young people, running an adventurous and fun program, while also helping teach them life skills and leadership.
Access to scouting activities supports young people’s development and growth by creating opportunities for them to lead in their own communities.
Scouts Victoria is one of the state’s largest youth organisations with a membership base of more than 20,000 young people and 5,000 adult volunteers. The number of young people participating in scouting activities has grown by 30 per cent in the last 10 years alone.
Today’s funding builds on the 23 local Scouts projects the Labor Government has delivered, with $5.5 million in funding to build and upgrade scouting infrastructure.
Only a re-elected Labor Government will invest in our young people and their futures – because only Labor will do what matters.
