A new CFA Station for Kinglake West
A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will deliver a new CFA station for locals in Kinglake West.
Our hardworking CFA volunteers put their lives on the line to protect our community.
That’s why a re-elected Labor Government will invest $3.2 million to deliver a new CFA station on the current station site, making sure our volunteer firefighters have the tools and equipment they need to safely respond to emergencies.
This investment will boost the resources of the local CFA in Kinglake West, giving them the modern facilities they deserve.
Today’s funding builds on the more than 50 new and upgraded fire stations we’re delivering across the state, in addition to making sure our fire services have the equipment they need to operate safely and effectively.
In contrast, you can’t trust Matthew Guy’s Liberals with our fire services. When they were given the chance, they cut $66 million from the CFA and MFB, making it harder for firefighters to keep our communities safe.
Only a re-elected Labor Government will build and upgrade the facilities our firefighters need to protect their communities – because only Labor will do what matters.
