New Playspace for Kids in Doreen

Kids in Doreen will enjoy a new playspace where little ones can have fun and families can get together, thanks to the support of a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.

We’ll invest $500,000 towards the construction of a playground in Doreen, giving our kids more opportunities to play, explore and make new friends.

Since coming to office, the Labor Government has built and upgraded playgrounds in every corner of our state.

We’ve delivered modern designs, accessible play equipment and sensory gardens to excite and engage kids in outdoor play.

And we’ve upgraded facilities like picnic tables, barbecues and toilet blocks so that families can get the most out of their local parks.

We’ve also made it easier for families to be sun smart at their local playground, installing shade cloths to keep our littlest Victorians safe and out of the sun.
