Better Footy Gear for MItcham Tigers' Women's Side

Mitcham Tigers’ first women’s team will benefit from new equipment, helping them to kick goals on and off the field – thanks to a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.

We’ll invest $15,000 towards equipment for the Tigers’ women’s side, supporting the Mitcham Football Club team with the gear they need.  

Local sport is the lifeblood of Mitcham, and the Tigers bring our communities and families together.

That’s why the Labor Government is backing our sports clubs, families and communities by delivering better sports grounds, facilities and equipment.

We’ve invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve recreation reserves and sports grounds, delivering better playing surfaces, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities for clubs in every corner of the state – while at the same time, supporting local jobs.

Only a re-elected Labor Government will back the local sports clubs in our community – because only Labor will do what matters.
