A Stronger South East Community Links
A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will support South East Community Links to keep providing essential community support and wellbeing services with a $100,000 grant.
For more than 50 years, South East Community Links has supported thousands of people across the south eastern suburbs with information, advocacy and referrals services, settlement support for refugees and asylum seekers, emergency relief, housing and homelessness support, employment assistance and support for young people.
Funding from a Labor Government will make sure they are well-equipped to continue to help local families – ensuring every Victorian gets the support they need when they need it.
Labor is doing what matters – backing the important community organisations that help us all.
The Labor Government has always delivered on what matters for local communities, ensuring neighbourhoods have accessible wellbeing and support services close to home.
We know these crucial community services make a real difference to those in need.
In sharp contrast, when it comes to delivering the vital support that people in our community rely on, Matthew Guy’s Liberals can’t be trusted. Their policy of cuts and closures would leave locals behind.
Only Labor will back the community organisations that keep our community strong – because only Labor will do what matters.
