A Better Playground for Kids in Cheltenham

Kids in Cheltenham will enjoy an upgraded playground thanks to a re-elected Andrews Labor Government. 

We’ll invest $75,000 to upgrade the Chelsea Street Playground, giving our little ones more opportunities to play, explore and make new friends.  

Since coming to office, the Labor Government has built and upgraded playgrounds in every corner of our state. 

We’ve delivered modern designs, accessible play equipment and sensory gardens to excite and engage kids in outdoor play.  

And we’ve upgraded facilities like picnic tables, barbecues and toilet blocks so that families can get the most out of their local parks.  

We’ve also made it easier for families to be sun smart at their local playground, installing shade cloths to keep our littlest Victorians safe and out of the sun.  

Only a re-elected Labor Government will deliver a better playground for families in Cheltenham – because only Labor will do what matters.
