A stronger Volunteering Geelong

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will ensure Volunteering Geelong is able to provide a broader range of programs and activities, as well as being fully inclusive and accessible for locals in Geelong.

Volunteering Geelong partners with numerous other groups and organisations in the Geelong and Colac communities to deliver projects and programs to support people with specific needs.

Many of these are designed with aboriginal Victorians, people with a disability and new migrants in mind.

If re-elected we’ll provide a $100,000 capped grant to continue to deliver valuable services and programs to the community.

Labor is doing what matters – backing the important community organisations that help us all.

By continuing to invest in what matters, we will secure the future of this important community organisation.

That’ll mean more locals will be better supported by the dedicated and hardworking volunteers and staff helping to deliver community-based services for the local community.

We’ll make sure they are well equipped to help local families and members of the community ensuring every Victorian gets the help and support they need, when they need – and closer to home.

Only Labor will do what matters for local communities, ensuring neighbourhoods have accessible wellbeing and support services close to home.
