Stronger veterinary care in Bendigo West

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will ensure that the Regional Community Vet Clinic (RCVC) has the funding it needs to provide families with affordable veterinary services for their beloved pets.

If re-elected, we’ll invest $100,000 in the community-funded veterinary clinic.

Labor is doing what matters – backing the important community organisations that help us all.

A not-for-profit community veterinary clinic, RCVC supports elderly and socially disadvantaged community members by providing access to affordable preventative veterinary services for their pets.

This local organisation has been raising funds to establish a 100 per cent non-profit community-funded veterinary clinic – a first for regional Victoria.

This builds on our record of support for the not-for-profit vet clinic with an investment of $250,000 provided in 2022 through two separate grant streams – the Animal Welfare Grant Program and the Living Local Fund.

Only Labor Government will make sure this important community vet clinic will be supported to deliver care to animals in need.
