Shade Covers for Seaford Sporting Community

Families in Carrum will enjoy new shade facilities, under a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.

Labor will provide $50,000 towards the delivery of new shade covers at RF Miles Recreation Reserve.

Our outdoor recreation and play spaces bring us together and keep us active, but support from friends and families on the sidelines is too often dependant on the weather.

These new covers will mean our local netball, cricket and football teams can enjoy the sports they love with their friends and families cheering them on.

Sport is the lifeblood of Carrum, bringing together families and communities.

Our local clubs work hard to fundraise, and they need a Government that backs them.

It’s why we have invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve local recreation reserves and sports grounds – making them better for local families.

We’ve delivered better courts and grounds, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities for clubs in every corner of the state.

Only Labor will deliver better recreational facilities in Carrum, looking after the needs of local families.
