Sale on Track for Pumped New Park

Locals across Gippsland South will hone their BMX skills with a new dedicated pump track in a redeveloped Lions Park, thanks to a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.

We’ll invest up to $350,000 towards a track extension, providing an even better experience for riders from Sale and around the state.

From BMX riders to mountain bikers and almost everything in between, pump tracks are a drawcard for two-wheeled enthusiasts, with the upgraded park to bring more visitors to the region.

Community sport is the lifeblood of regional Victoria and the upgrade to Lions Park will offer improved facilities for local families, while providing a unique place for locals and visitors across the region to get active and come together.

The Labor Government has invested more than $1.6 billion in community sport and infrastructure, delivering better courts and grounds, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities to local communities and the budding sporting champions that call them home.

Only Labor will deliver the Lions Park pump track extension in Gippsland South, while continuing to deliver for the needs of local families.
