MORE PARK UPGRADES ON THE WAY FOR BUNDOORA
Bundoora locals will enjoy an upgrade to one of their much-loved local parks thanks to a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.
We’ll invest $400,000 through a grant for Banyule City Council that will help upgrade park facilities at the Greensborough War Memorial Park.
We’ve already delivered the new Latrobe university shared user path and are upgrading Hawkestowe Park to make sure it’s safe and accessible so the whole community can get out and exercise while enjoying nature.
Since coming to office, the Labor Government has built and upgraded playgrounds in every corner of our state.
We’ve delivered modern designs, accessible play equipment and sensory gardens to excite and engage kids in outdoor play.
And we’ve upgraded facilities like picnic tables, barbecues and toilet blocks so that families can get the most out of their local parks.
We’ve also made it easier for families to be sun smart at their local playground, installing shade cloths to keep our littlest Victorians safe and out of the sun.
But we will do more – upgrading the Greensborough War Memorial Park for every family in Bundoora to enjoy.
Only Labor will deliver better playgrounds for families in Bundoora – because only Labor will do what matters.
