Improving the Brighton Union Cricket Club for Locals

Families in Brighton will enjoy upgraded cricket facilities, thanks to a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.

We’ll invest up to $10,000 towards the club, delivering better sporting equipment that the whole community can be proud of.

Local sport is the lifeblood of Brighton, bringing communities and families together.

That’s why the Labor Government is backing our sports clubs, families and communities by delivering better sports grounds and facilities.

We’ve invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve recreation reserves and sports grounds, delivering better playing surfaces, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities for clubs in every corner of the state – while at the same time, supporting local jobs.

Only a re-elected Labor Government will back the local sports clubs in our community – because only Labor will do what matters.
