A Stronger MHA Care

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will support MHA Care to continue delivering services to support loved ones to live independently at home and in the community.

We’ll provide a $50,000 grant, helping MHA Care to continue providing much needed services for the ones that need it – services include home care, personal care, meal delivery, respite care, home maintenance and activity groups.

MHA Care has been running for 19 years and has supported thousands of community members and their families.

Funding from a Labor Government will make sure they are well-equipped to continue to help local families and members of our community – ensuring every Victorian gets the support they need when they need it.

It builds on the massive investments in community support the Labor Government has already delivered, ensuring neighbourhoods have accessible wellbeing and support services close to home.

In sharp contrast, when it comes to delivering the vital support that people in our community rely on, Matthew Guy’s Liberals can’t be trusted. Their policy of cuts and closures would leave locals behind.

Only a re-elected Labor Government will back the community organisations that keep our community strong – because only Labor will do what matters.

“MHA Care is a small service with a big heart – giving everything they have to support our community. It’s why we’re going to make sure they have what they need to keep supporting local residents.”
