Supporting Community Care in Monbulk
A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will ensure the Philanthropic Collective can keep giving a helping hand to those in need across the Monbulk electorate.
We’ll support Philanthropic Collective with a $60,000 grant for the not-for-profit charity organisation – helping them to provide care boxes to all those in need.
This builds on our record of support for food relief, with an investment of more than $43 million to expand community relief since February 2020.
Labor is doing what matters – backing the important community organisations that help us all.
The Philanthropic Collective is made up of a team of volunteers that focuses on community goodwill and caregiving.
The Philanthropic Collective has provided care boxes to those in the community who are doing it tough. The care boxes include food and essential household items. The charity also provides fresh food to schools for school breakfasts, canteens, after and before-school care programs, homework clubs and so much more.
Since their Free Food Program was launched in 2016, the Philanthropic Collective has fed more than 2,000 families in need.
Only Labor will deliver what matters to our community.
