Safer Crossing for Bentleigh Greek Orthodox Church on Centre Road

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will deliver a safer pedestrian crossing on Centre Road for parishioners of Saints Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Greek Orthodox Church in Bentleigh.

We’re making it easier and safer for pedestrians to cross Centre Road by creating a new pedestrian crossing – keeping families safe. There is currently no pedestrian crossing between Centre Road and Jasper Road making it difficult for families to cross safely.

We have listened to the community’s advocacy on this issue - only Labor will deliver this important project. 

Since 1928, Saints Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Church has been a vital place of worship for Bentleigh’s thriving Greek community. With the added safety of this pedestrian crossing, local families will continue to enjoy this historic church for many years to come.
