Improving Community Sport For Rutherglen
Families in Rutherglen will enjoy new and upgraded facilities, thanks to a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.
We’ll invest up to $1 million to Barkly Park for change room upgrades, so sports players have better, modern facilities to change in.
Local sport is the lifeblood of our region, bringing communities and families together.
That’s why the Labor Government is backing our sports clubs, families and communities by delivering better sports grounds and facilities.
We’ve invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve recreation reserves and sports grounds, delivering better playing surfaces, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and change rooms for clubs in every corner of the state – while at the same time, supporting local jobs.
Only Labor will back the local sports clubs in our community – because only Labor will do what matters.
