Carrum Downs Community Pumped for New Park

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will make sure Carrum Downs locals can hone their bike skills and enjoy a new play space with an investment of $1.5 million for a new pump track and play space at the Banyan Fields BMX Track.

From BMX riders to mountain bikers and almost everything in between, pump tracks are a drawcard for two-wheeled enthusiasts.

The new pump track and play space at the Banyan Fields BMX Track will offer improved facilities for families and a unique place for locals to get active.

Local sport is the lifeblood of Carrum Downs, bringing communities and families together.

That’s why Labor is backing our sports clubs, families and communities by delivering better sports grounds and facilities.

The Labor Government has invested more than $1.6 billion in community sport and infrastructure, delivering better courts and grounds, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities to local communities and the budding sporting champions that call them home.

Only Labor will deliver the new Banyan Fields BMX Track pump track and play space, continuing to deliver for the needs of local families.
