Building a Stronger Ballarat Foundation

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will support The Ballarat Foundation with a $75,000 grant, ensuring hardworking volunteers can continue to provide the services that our community needs.

With a history dating back more than 35 years, The Ballarat Foundation is a not-for-profit philanthropic organisation that provides grants, programs and support to those in the community experiencing disadvantage.

This investment builds on Labor’s strong record of support for The Ballarat Foundation. Earlier this year we announced $1.05 million from the Regional Infrastructure Fund for the Foundation to establish a community hub for charities and volunteering at its premises in Lydiard Street, Ballarat Central.

Labor is doing what matters – backing the important community organisations that help us when we need it most.

We’ll make sure they are supported to help local families and members of the community, ensuring every Victorian gets the services they need, when they need it – and closer to home.

Our Labor Government will always back local communities and their neighbourhoods – because only Labor is doing what matters.
