A New Playground at Sandfield Reserve
Families in Carrum will enjoy new playground facilities, under a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.
We’ll invest up to $1.3 million towards the delivery of a new district playground at Sandfield Reserve in Carrum Downs.
Our open recreation and play spaces bring us together and keep us active, delivering these new facilities will mean local families have more options to keep our kids engaged.
Having places close to home where you can socialise and play is so important, but not everybody can get to a good quality reserve easily.
That’s why the Labor Government is backing local families to deliver this new playground closer to home.
We have invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve local recreation reserves and sports grounds – making them better for local families.
We’ve delivered better courts and grounds, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities for clubs in every corner of the state.
Only a Labor will deliver better recreational facilities in Carrum, looking after the needs of local families.
